Congressman Buddy Carter will be the featured speaker at the Golden Isles Council's October meeting on Tuesday, October 27, at 6:00 PM at American Legion Post 166, 1013 Arthur J Moore Drive, St. Simons Island.

Joining him will be cadet leaders from the Glynn Academy Marine Corps JROTC and the Brunswick High School Navy JROTC, who will share what their programs are doing to prepare the next generation for service.

The meeting is open to members and guests. If you have been thinking about joining the Navy League, this is a great evening to come meet us.

Looking ahead: on Tuesday, November 10, we will gather at Post 166 at 6:00 PM to celebrate the birthdays of the U.S. Navy and the U.S. Marine Corps.
